How?

You can contact the centre by phone ar 01-6677666 and ask for the family support worker or any member of staff. An appointment will be made and a one to one support service will be put in place. If deemed appropriate, introduction into the family support group will be made.

 

 

Addict   Support
 

Who?

The support services are on offer is available to any member of the community affected by their own drug use with a view to making necessary changes in order to live a healthier lifestyle.

  • Literacy support

  • Counselling

  • One to one support

  • Support groups

  • Weekend events

  • Weekends away

  • Peer support

  • Buddy system (staff accompany client on appointments)

How?

Contact can be made by phone to 01-6677666 or drop into the centre and ask for the addict support worker or any member of staff. An appointment will be made or in a crisis immediate intervention will take place if possible.

After assessment a number of one to one supports are put in place and if deemed appropriate introduction into support groups.

 

Day  Programme

 

Who?

This programme is open to those struggling with the drugs issue and seeking support. This is funded by the DSP. A community employment programme for a period of 3 years depending on the suitability is offered to the participant. The person participates in the programme over a 5 day week for 19 1/2 hours. The main aim is to equip the participant with the necessary skills and supports in order to provide further employment opportunities.
