The Spellman Centre
Day Programme
This programme is open to those struggling with the drugs issue and seeking support. This is funded by the DSP. A community employment programme for a period of 3 years depending on the suitability is offered to the participant. The person participates in the programme over a 5 day week for 19 1/2 hours. The main aim is to equip the participant with the necessary skills and supports in order to provide further employment opportunities.

There are 36 places on the programme. You can contact the Daytime supervisor or any member of staff and put your name on the waiting list.

The Centre runs a Community Employment Day Programme. The morning programme is a stabilization programme and the afternoon is a harm reduction programme. Bothe programmes offer a variety of educational courses including: Computers English Personal Development Holistic Group Therapy Fitness The participant can also access outside training through the FAS training budget.
